Search & Report Features 
  

Defining your search criteria - Use the drop down menu provided to define your search criteria. The drop down menu provides users with several search criteria to choose from such as order number, department, person, company or address. Users also have a choice of not choosing a specific criteria (just choose 'all'). In this case, the system will generate everything based on the date range specified categorized by department. 

 

Refining your search - To refine your search further after choosing a specific criteria, type a specific text that you want the system to look for. Depending on the criteria you have chosen, this could be a specific order number, department name, person, company, or address. Users also have the choice of leaving this field blank if they prefer to do so.

 

Specifying the date period - A specific date range must be entered in order to generate the report. Dates should be entered as specified MMM dd yyyy (e.g. JAN 01 2004).   

 

Start search and generate report - After all the necessary search fields have been specified, click on the search button located at the right hand side of the search & report screen as shown on the above sample screen. The search results will be generated within a few seconds.

 

Daily report option - The daily report option is also available for users who are interested in keeping track of their daily activities. Just click on the 'daily report' button located right under the 'search' button at the upper right hand side of the screen to generate a report for the current date.

 

Download option - Users also have the option of downloading the report and saving the information in their computer. To use this option, click on the 'download' button located in the upper right hand side of the screen after the report you wish to download has been generated. After clicking on the download button, you will be prompted to either open up the file or save it to your computer. If you choose to save the file, you will be asked to specify in which drive and/or folder in your computer you would like the file saved. Click on 'save' and the file should be saved in your computer in a matter of minutes.

 

Search results - The search results give a summary of each order. Specifically, the details given include the delivery ID (order number), date the order was entered, the status of the order, the pick-up and delivery addresses, the service level requested and the price charged for the order (not including the 7% GST).

 

Total (department) - The total for each department will be displayed at the end of each department section. It will show the total charge for the department (not including GST), the total number of pieces, and the number of pieces according to service levels and delivery status.

 

Grand Total - The grand total is shown at the very end of the report. This area shows the grand total charge for the period specified as it pertains to the search criteria as well as the total number of pieces shipped and the break down according to service levels and delivery status.

 

On time delivery rate - RD Delivery Inc's on time delivery rate for the period specified will be displayed at the very end of each report. The RD Delivery Inc ideal is to keep this rate at 98% (or higher) however, there are quite a few factors that affect this statistic so do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or concerns regarding your on-time delivery rate.
