| TRACKING SCREEN
 |
-
You will be able to view
your tracking screen as soon as you entered your login information
-
The sample screen below
identifies the great features of your tracking screen and what
various information you can obtain from it. The numbered fields
correspond to the description provided below. Click on the numbers
to obtain an explanation regarding that particular feature.
|
 |

|
Calendar - The calendar gives customers a list of all
the orders entered through the system for a specific date. The customer
can choose to check either the current date or a past date by clicking
on the appropriate date. The customer can also select a different month
by using the arrows right beside where the month is indicated. It is
also a good habit to occasionally click on the current date to refresh
the screen especially if you had the tracking
screen open for sometime. |
 |
Order Number - Also referred to as the tracking number. Each order
entered through the system is issued a unique order number for tracking
purposes. |
|
Pick-up time - For easy reference, the pick-up time for each
order is also noted on the tracking screen. This usually indicates when
the order was put through or created unless the client
overrides the
default time while putting through the order to indicate a later pick-up
time. |
|
Delivery Status - The delivery status of each order can easily be
viewed through the tracking screen located right under the order number.
The sample screen above shows the various delivery status that can be
noted (i.e. Not Sent, Unconfirmed, Confirmed, Delivered and Cancelled)
as well as the icons associated with each status. For further details on
delivery status please click
here. |
 |
Pick-up From & Deliver To Information - For a quick reference,
the pick-up and delivery information is noted on the tracking screen
(usually contains the company name and address). Full details of the
order can be viewed by clicking on the
order
expansion button located right beside the
delivery status. |
|
Order Expansion - The customer
has the capability of expanding the order and viewing all the pertinent
information on a particular order right on the tracking screen in just a
click of a button. The + sign located right beside the delivery status
expands the order to show various information as shown in the
sample
screen above and discussed below on order details. |
 |
Statistics - The statistics area located
at the right side of the tracking screen keeps customers up-to-date on
the statuses of their orders. As can be seen from the sample screen
above, the statistics area offers customers a quick summary of how many
deliveries in total they have entered for the day and the breakdown of
these deliveries in terms of how many are in the status of
not sent,
unconfirmed,
confirmed,
delivered and
cancelled. |

|
Order Details - As mentioned above
under order expansion, the order details for a particular order is
readily available for customers right at the tracking screen. This is
really convenient since the customers don't really have to call RD
Delivery to obtain information such as proof of delivery (POD - who
signed for the package), or go to another screen to find out how much the
delivery would cost them and the breakdown of the charges associated
with a particular order such as the base price, zone premium, gas
surcharge and GST. The order details also provide customers
information such as when the order was created, confirmed and closed. |

Delivery
Status (Details)
-
Not Sent - This status indicates that the
customer has created an order by entering some or all of the
necessary information but saved the order instead of sending it.
Customers may do this for a variety of reasons such as when an order
is not yet ready for pick-up (i.e. still needs to be packaged) or
waiting for additional information (i.e. e-mail address for an
e-mail confirmation request). While an order is in this status, the
customer still has the option of canceling the order or make changes
to it (click on the order number to go back to the order to either
make changes or cancel). Make sure to check the pick-up time
whenever sending an order that has been under this status for a long
period of time since it will most likely retain the time noted when
the order was first created.
-
Unconfirmed - Any order that has been sent
through will be in this status until the courier driver confirms it.
If an order remains unconfirmed for a long period time, the system
will prompt you to contact customer service to follow-up. If an
order seems to be unconfirmed for a long period of time, try
clicking on the current date to refresh your screen. 99% of the
time, this will change the status from unconfirmed to confirmed.
-
Confirmed - Once the status of the order
has changed to confirmed, the order has been acknowledged by the
driver. The driver at this point is aware of the details of the
order as noted in the system such the delivery information including
what time the package has to be delivered.
-
Delivered - As soon as the package has
been delivered, the driver will enter the POD (proof of delivery) in
the system and the information will be readily available for you
right on the tracking screen. To view additional information
regarding an order, simply click on the
order expansion button located right beside the delivery status.
-
Cancelled - This status will be noted for
any order that has been sent but had to be cancelled by RD Delivery
as per the customer's request. Once an order has been sent, the
customer no longer has the capability to cancel the order and
therefore will have to call RD Delivery to modify the status.
